Schengen

A Schengen visa is a short-stay visa allowing its holder to circulate in the Schengen area for a maximum of 90 days within a 180-day period

Documents for Schengen Visa

01 — Visa Application Form

  1. Complete and submit the visa application form

02 — Passport

  1. Original, signed passport with at least 2 blank pages for visa stamps.

  2. Passport must be valid for at least 90 days after your planned return date.

  3. Clear photocopies of the first and last pages showing your personal information (photo, name, date of birth, passport number, issuing authority).

03 — Recent Photograph

  1. A passport-size photo taken within the last 3 months.

  2. Ensure it meets all official photo requirements.

04 — Previous Visas

  1. Copies of valid UK, USA, or Canadian visas, if applicable.

05 — UK Residence Permit

  1. Original and photocopy of your UK Residence Permit (in passport or BRP card).

  2. Must be valid for at least 1 month after leaving the Schengen area.

  3. If BRP is being processed: provide a UKVI confirmation letter and UKVI share code.

06 — Travel Itinerary

  1. A detailed schedule including travel dates, cities, hotel stays, and transportation plans.

07 — Hotel Booking Confirmation

  1. Printed confirmation showing all reservation details.

08 — Transport Documentation

  1. Printed travel tickets with full details.

  2. If travelling by car:

  3. Car registration

  4. Car insurance

  5. Return ferry or Eurotunnel tickets showing the vehicle registration number

  6. Driver’s licence details

09 — Proof of Occupation

  1. Recent signed employer letter on company headed paper (name, position, date, address, phone).

  2. Last 3 months of payslips.

  3. For self-employed applicants:

  4. Recent accountant letter (headed paper with full company details) confirming your business status in the UK.

  5. If spouse is sponsoring the trip:

  6. Marriage certificate or affidavit

  7. Sponsor’s support letter

  8. For students:

  9. Enrollment/confirmation letter from your educational institution.

  10. All letters should be issued within the last 10 days.

10 — Bank Statements

  1. Original UK bank statements (current account) showing your name and address, covering the last 3 full months.

  2. Credit card statements with matching name and address may also be included.

  3. Must clearly show sufficient financial means for the entire trip.

11 — International Travel Medical Insurance (EU)

  1. Insurance policy valid for the Schengen area, covering at least €30,000.

  2. Must include:

  3. Full name as in passport

  4. Coverage for COVID-19, repatriation, emergency care, and hospital treatment for the full stay.
